End of July2017 Part IV –

On the pier. Evening of August 2nd 2017.

Beautiful, beautiful pictures of the evening, stormy clouds, in periwinkle tones, and vacation-like vibes, relaxing on the water in Pointe-Claire.

The pier has mock sailboat masts as part of its design.

Picture project. August 4th 2017.

Beautiful, beautiful pictures of the evening… uh, I mean my sister Stephanie! Really, I wanted to go to Stewart Hall Pointe-Claire to take photos of the lilies that are in bloom now. But I caught a Lili too! 3 botanists/ecologists on duty! I finally got that kid to come to the park with us! (The 3rd one was my mother, Christine) **All boys along were given the grade “epic fail”!!!!** (Thats a joke… they are excellent students!!!)

This brat took a close-up picture of the one lily that had an ant in it!!!

Madonna! August 6th 2017

Very talented artist, very sweet person

Okay, what the hell happened? August 12th 2017

This is an acoustic track I layed down, me playing on my Seagull acoustic guitar, and somehow it ended up in Brandon Boyd’s (awesome whammo lead singer of Incubus & Sons of the Sea) hands. He’s singing on my guitar playing! I don’t know if my friend who had the recording stuff sent it to him, or if I did and I don’t remember… I just found it yesterday… and I was like… wtf?

August 16th 2017… I drew this new drawing, & you could call it a mandala – the evening of August 13th. I had been meaning to do more marker drawings, or things in the realm of visual arts (but not photography), for a long time. There are many elements that went into this drawing.

My mother has been ill with different ailments on and off for a long time. About a week and a half ago, she had woken up with scary symptoms. I took care of her hands-on, all day, and prepared notes for her regular treating doctor. It was very scary to see a loved one ill like that. A couple of days later, I splurged on two new windbreaker jackets, because one was like Little Red Riding Hood, and the other was very blue like in the new drawing. The blue shell, to me, was like my “paramedic” jacket.

So, the night I decided to draw, I realized I did not have the kind of paper around that I wanted to use. I found two blue cardboard pieces that were leftover from cutting other pieces. I decided that this shade of blue was good for art that day, and the absorbent rough blue cardboard would be good for dragging along my older felt pens, without worry of ruining newer ones. You see, a lot went into this!

After all this happened, with my mom, and my new jacket – my boyfriend Adrian had been around too – he wanted to borrow my jacket and wear it proudly too, and we thought he would look very handsome in it because it is solid bright blue.Adrian was sitting by my side as I made the drawing. I needed some respite. I started it with no plan, which is a mandala technique, and I drew it with Adrian, so it is another one of Adrian’s Chakra Mandalas. He had been bugging me to make him a new one anyway!

I started with some geometric shapes, started adding natural elements, built up the drawing to a very interesting picture… interesting composition… but what you can notice the most is the big straight standing feather, and the little drawing of the star. I did not use a model for this page. I did not plan it. I stand tall. & that special star has been appearing in my night sky a lot

That star shines in its own special way…

Picture project… as I was cooking dinner.. !*&$%##… Super tired from my day… ^$%##!… & previous days… Had to get some photos in!!!! August 17th 2017.

I was preparing an acorn squash as a side for dinner. My grandmother lived in the country, and she had a big vegetable garden. She would make these. I make them too now.. and they are yummy!

This is an acorn squash… not a pumpkin!!!

Now its cut open

Cooked!

My leather purse from Bolsena, Italy. August 19th 2017.

When I visited Italy for the second time I stayed in a city called Bolsena. I met a man there that ran a leather workshop. I designed a purse with him! He then made it for me, and I finished it when I got home to Canada.

There was a small pouch-shaped purse in his shop, with a long strap, all in leather. I asked him to make me the same one in the turquoise leather he had. I asked him to add ‘cords”, so I could add my beads when I got home, and tie knots to hold them on. You gotta plan for the knots, baby!!! I made a sketch of how I wanted the sown cords dangling on each side, with what I beads I would add in mind. There is a natural-tone wood bead I had, two brown glass beads I had, and two other beads I hand-made in clay and hand-painted with stripes in a color-fade design.

Uh-oh… another sick person… August 22nd 2017.

Custom Fragrance Kit. August 28th 2017.

These perfumes are so concentrated, strong, and special… that you need very little… a small bottle could last a lifetime! The essences in them are therapeutic for my big Adonis’ body and health too!

NEST Eau de Parfum Collection Coffret
SIZE 7 x 0.10 oz/ 3 mL

In Midnight Fleur, exotic wood, patchouli, and black amber are blended with sensual notes of night-blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid. The combination of these notes is bold, irresistible, and purely sensual.

Verde Eau de Parfum is based on a blend of wild fern and Himalayan cedar in an invigorating balance with verbena leaves and vetiver. A member of the fougère family of fragrances, it marries herbaceous leafy notes with musky undertones for a crisp, light finish.

For Dahlia & Vines, dewy daffodils, peony, and rose are blended with the essence of garden vines. This combination reveals a romantic floral that exudes elegance, grace, and luxury.

In Indigo, Moroccan tea, Kashmir wood, and black cardamom are enhanced with hints of wild fig and bergamot. These notes combine to create a captivating fragrance that transitions well from day to evening

Citrine offers the dewy softness of lotus flower and freesia, set against sparkling citrus notes and hints of precious woods.

White Sandalwood is an intoxicating and memorable scent that is truly unique. White Indian sandalwood is blended with creamy almond, white musk, and exotic spices.

Paradise perfectly captures a luscious burst of fresh, Mediterranean blood orange. The vibrant character of the fragrance is balanced with watery nuances, a hint of white ginger, and a lingering base of cedarwood.

Why do I call you ‘Adonis’, Adrian?

Custom collaboration. Arrivederci Bolsena! August 31st 2017.

These are gifts I made for my husband, Adrian. We were just married Friday, August 25th, at about 1:30 in the morning, Montreal time, by the pope in Roma! I cherish him so dearly, and I’m such a creative gal, and such a Santa Claus who spoils her loved ones rotten…(!) A jeweler did the work for me, as per my instructions, with my tungsten carbide wedding bands and slate grey pearls. And these are just for accessorizing… on his right hand! Smile…

“Wow babe…” September 5th 2017.

I made this piece of jewelry for my husband.

It has a jewel-encrusted shiny silver tone bird, and a diamond, and a line like the bird’s flight. The diamond sanctifies the bird’s dive line. There are gold rings, one in a spiral, and the pendant is on a black silk thread. The necklace can’t be fiddled with too much… I told Adrian he has to learn to adjust it very gently, by feel, without the mirror. I made the pendant on a “mean”. The rings with the pearls have a mean too.

The other pictures show a pendant I have that has a beautiful design. To me, an angel wing, that looks like the Golden Eagle, or Egyptian.

Then a picture of the metal pieces all dangling and sparkling.

Adrian’s Keyring. September 6th 2017

I put together a beautiful set of keys for Adrian; with the keys he needs. Some of the keys I had cut have the pretty designs I chose. Have you ever seen these? There’s dolphins & “pink leopard”. I attached exquisite charms too. There are two vintage Tiffany key chains and another with a crystal. What a dream to finally have a husband to give a set of keys to!

Party Night at Fairview. September 8th 2017
My Yves Rocher Line, for my boys.

Yves Rocher is a store with beauty products from France. They have soaps, creams, perfumes, makeup, and other very special exotic products. But even their shower gels are made with magnificent flowers, fruits and herbs; even trees! It is actually owned by François Hollande, president of France. France’s current historical point is called Le 5ième République de la France.

You should look up the flags of France, Holland, Italy, and Canada.
What do you see?

A few super cool photos of items on my PC desk. September 13th 2017

A plaster sculpture, a Venice mask, a leather envelope, and a smooth river rock
(Below…)
Another rock, that I drew on, in black, into its natural formations

A unicorn, my crystal points, keycards, a painted tile, art ash trays, merman money…
(Wtf is merman money?…)

“Merman Money” is actually what I call those incandescent fish-scale circles. They are mini cabochons, layered in a pattern, set on a gold circular support.
Whats in those chocolate boxes, anyway?
Think of concepts about money. What has value?

Beautiful pieces photographed in the open palm of my right hand. September 13th 2017
These photos were done at night, inside the house. There are still beautiful color effects in the low light. & I took the pictures with my left no less!

King of France necklace, by me & Chris. September 15th 2017
Chris and Taylor are the new owners of Bijouterie Larente in Pierrefonds. They are very kind, and a couple, and Taylor is soon to have a newborn! They do repairs for me, and I always bring the interesting things to fix or work on. Chris can do metallurgy… so when I have ideas for an original project, I bring the pieces to him, explain how I want it done (with even some high-class and high-tech instructions in there, or gemology and metals info…) And he can do the work for me! I’ve made so many repairs there, and now so many custom pieces, that Chris is like the Alicia pupil, and he’s got a “black diamond” skill level, as honored. (*wink*) (Taylor is a very accomplished woman herself, and she’s Jade’s sister; she has a veterinary degree, and paints, and know how to run a business, as much as she drives Chris insane!!)

This project was to make a King of France necklace for my hubby Adrian, and I brought Chris charms and a black chain necklace I wanted disassembled for it, and some instructions… and whammo, superman-jewelry guy got it done. So very precious, and beautiful!!!
