I just took these photos of Mommy’s Cat Charms~ ○○○♡♡
I chose the charms, bought them, had them engraved, and set them on my bracelets. They are actually fancy pet tags from the pet supply store. I decided to make jewelry for Fils’ Mommy too. Fils & Jaq have their little tags… Jaq’s is a pink metal heart, engraved with her name and her mommy’s cell number~○○○♡♡

The year of the Rat, in its astrology lore, is lucky for new beginnings, since it the first animal of the 12-year cycle. There is even a 60-year cycle; there are five elements in the Chinese zodiac, so they come around in a 60-year cycle! (12 animals x 5 elements= 60) There is metal, wood, earth, fire, water.
This year is the year of the Water Rat.

This is a piece of silk from India~
I bought a yard, typical of how you buy fabric, and had it imported. The color was called Peacock. I chose the piece from a photograph. I bought it to use to take photos; I also thought I might be able to wear it as a scarf as is, or use it for a sowing project .

I mailed this portfolio of art things yesterday… my fish is a floating barracuda! The outside of my mailers are carefully planned & made & stamped, and whats inside is always carefully selected by me, wrapped perfectly, and consists of beautiful art that I made or things sometimes that I add because of their significance.

I drew this at Maurizio’s yesterday; then took some photos there after I was done. I ate some pasta too! Today, I take more photos of the card to present it more accurately to itself. I hadn’t been to see my friends at Maurizio’s in a long time… and making some marker drawing art was due. I got some “well-rounded” compliments… and my mom got a big kiss!!!!

Hmmm… Valentine’s card decks..♡
“Figures”
(“major arcanas”)
Each of these mini card decks has eight cards that are the size of a business card, with different images of my art printed on them. I design the prints.
The 8 cards in each of these little bundles have people on them; in art terms; “figures’
I created them together in a series, actually 2 series and some individuals, and by placing them together as a 8-card deck, it becomes like a set of character cards.
In the Tarot, which is an old set of cards with images on them that are different (but similar) to playing cards, there is something called “The Major Arcana” that is part of the deck. The Lower Arcana has the suits with the numbers, and the Major Arcana has a series of 22 figures of people, with a title for each card.
There is no King or Queen; but there is The Emperor and The Empress.
These little bundles of joy are my “Major Arcana” decks.
I prepped 30 of them today, with my friend Howard helping… and he had fun working on my art things with me,,,, and was shuffling the art cards as fast as Texas Hold-Em!!!!

Look who was around right when it was time for photos of the Bernini porcelain cat♡
I bought this porcelain cat, and today it was time to present it; to photograph it! I really think it is by Bernini! It even looks like his colonnade in St-Peter’s square. & its actually a box; it opens. The cat and his bed lift off, and the bottom is a shallow dish, but still part of the sculpture (the bottom of the bed). It could be for coins or jewelry. Fils is in the photographs… you can see why the markings are painted on the white cat! They match. Its part of the serenity of the cat. He holds his beauty.

These are photographs, from today, of my two new marker cards. I finished them yesterday, when I was out with my father, having café time. Such a positive experience! The sun is high now; so I tried photograping them in shade, and then in the bright sun. I should say bright sun rays! I placed the cards on a special piece of dyed cotton fabric~ its warm purple.
