WINTER SOLSTICE 2025

☆》》》The WINTER SOLSTICE & the beginning of Winter is on Sunday, December 21st, at 10:03 a.m. Eastern Time

☆》》》On this day, the daylight time is the shortest of the year, here in Montreal

December 19th, 4:05pm
Its almost the shortest day of the year!!!
…then we’ll start going the other way; days will be getting longer!
(Then after the longest day, on June 21st, we’ll be going in the other direction again… WTF, summer!!)

Today is the 20th of December!
Christmas is in 5 days!
The stores may be very busy, but there are so many fancy gift options to choose from
If you have to celebrate alone, maybe find something nice to do for yourself~
Here in Quebec, its French-Canadian tradition to go to midnight mass, on Christmas eve, the 24th~
You even haul the kids out, & open gifts when you get back home!

If you’re waiting for Santa Claus to pass in the night, don’t forget to leave him some cookies out, & a carrot for his reindeer!
There’s also “little ” Christmas, Epiphany, celebrated on January 6th!

I think that this one might be a prize winner ☆
It’s a mum
It grows & is alive in the vase, even though it’s a cut flower
It would be the most amount of petals on a flower

The weather outside is frightful…

The Chinese say that Bamboo is an extinct plant; it is painted in their art, from painting in succession, over time, on their thousands-year-old tradition in calligraphy painting!

I think that I’ve been spotted!
The red sun on a line, in my drawing!

Egyptian hieroglyphs aren’t scary; I know how to read them!

They are cuneiform writing, from a very ancient time.

It’s not spooky; it could even be a love poem.

Another one is how to grow plants!!!

I have studied them.
