Doré the Tiger
5×7 inch photocard drawing with markers
This is the photo I took of my own drawing. This is to present it on the web~ to you, my audience

Saturday Night Stud Line-up
(Silly Ties #1)
This is a photograph. The new theme of my art is naming certain photographs I take “Tableaux”. It means canvases.
This is because of the richness of my photography. Sometimes my photographs look like paintings~ and that would be on canvases.

My cloth-cover Sherlock Holmes book is out of the photograph in this one.
(It would be on the right, but turned at an angle.)

I planned to make my new art prints as large matted cards, with an image printed in specifically designed special ink for my vivid colors, on both sides, then~ added the title for my new things, ~off it goes____

This one I call “Love Letter”
Its a bit different than the Tableaux, because of the name written in big letters. ~&the back

TABLEAUX~ “Its Forbidden” September 10th 2018
These luxuoso photographs were from already over a year ago. I used beautiful objects I own~ that were new at the time~ to make settings for photos. I then used some to design my custom decks of playing cards. I never published the series… because as fierce fiancé, Adrian wouldn’t have it!!!
(Yet last night he was stealing photos from my phone… of my underpants~)

New set of 4… Clay Throwing, Session-Day #2 (September 24th 2018)

Yesterday, I had to clean & sign my clay pots ~that had had time to dry. Ø § October 1st 2018

10 more new clay pieces… from yesterday, October 1st 2018

~My ten clay pieces are now cleaned up, & I sculpted into them. October 6th 2018

The clay flowers that I make on the pottery wheel have to be left to dry out. (Just an air dry). Then, you snap them off the tile that was set on the pottery wheel; & they pop off easily. Then, the next step is to “clean them”. It means scratch off rough edges & any imperfections with a sculpting tool. I also use a wet sponge to smooth out what I scratch. But I also etch~in sculptural lines, & gently carve~in subtle sculptural forms. This extra work turns the piece around~ & adds into it. I signed the bottom of all the pots in paint, but I also chose which way my clay flower should be turned as its front. The signature is legible to point the sculpture face. Its paint that can go for the next step, firing them in the kiln. A kiln is a pottery oven that heats to a very high temperature. The baking turns your clay into the final, solid, permanent piece.

~Five more clay flowers. October 12th 2018
I am still working on making these clay flower-sculptures into a nice series. Last night, I used a different type of clay, and made five more. My series is at 25 pieces now. This is a new thing for me///; a new exploration of making things in a whole new medium,,, ~and method!
I did throw clay before; many years ago; I did only some. I was eager to get my hands dirty and get back into it!!!!

TA-DAA!

More different originals from Thursday night… 8 to be exact. Sunday October 14th 2018.
My forms are different, but the same. The series is advancing….

I was in the clay workshop yesterday night~ Friday, October 19th, 2018.
The cleaning… the signing… the extra sculpting… & the conclusion… after discussion… no kiln-no firing!!!

I was in the clay workshop yesterday morning~ Sunday, October 21st, 2018.
My Saturday Morning: Art Class with the Kids!! I needed to do more cleaning… signing… extra sculpting… so I’m hopping in a kid’s class time-slot!!!! &… the conclusion… I made 40 pots; & they are all dry & sculpted!

“I was in the clay workshop yesterday”
These are actually photos from today, Monday November 5th (2018)
I am showing my previous potteries, some from about 16-and-a-half years ago, some even older. Most are from my work as a very advanced, trained, highly-skilled teenage-artist. That puts them at over 20 years old!

Tableaux selections of the day! I’m putting some of my proudest work out… (Well.. ~recent proudest work) Ø § September 26th 2018

I made an artshow & in-residence art making performance at an Italian café~trattoria called Maurizio’s. Ø § September 27th 2018
I finished an old up~ended weaving project, & finished with something on theme~ Pink Rainbow hair!!

I bought a new pouf yesterday, & the color is so rich, I just had to photograph it~ alongside my in-residence work. Especially because of the lighting! Ø § September 27th 2018

~The Royal Blue

I found very fuchsia flowers to photograph yesterday; excellent for triggering my artist inspiration. The flowering bush is called a wild rose. Because of the rich vibrancy of the magenta & the light, the results are spectacular. I follow my nose~ Ø § September 28th 2018
