WRITING FEATURE~ NEW SNOWFLAKE ART
Snowflakes are made by the way they freeze from water droplets of rain into ice.The freezing forms crystalline shapes.
My new snowflake drawings are based on photographs of real snowflakes.
Snowflakes are very small, even though they are so intricate.
They vary in size and shape and pattern; no two are perfectly alike.
Sometimes, very large flakes fall when it snows, and they can stick together.
You can hold them on your mitten.
They do repeat their geometric forms.
My drawings are a culmination of a lifetime of art making.
I can draft very quickly and beautifully because of the time I’ve put into my artistic practice. I made the 6 drawings in one night.
I had thought about my snowflakes in my head, before making them, for about a week.
