PhotoArt – September 2013

The album page numbers change the page of photos for all the galleries, so its a little bit tricky to navigate. Some albums don’t have a page 2 or 3 or 4, so just keep an eye on which page you’re on as you browse. To click through the albums with several pages, you have to close the photo window (once at the end of the photoset), change the page number, then scroll back down to the album you were visiting.

Most of the photographs are Alicia’s originals, without photoshop or cropping.

Ma’s gifts, September 6th, 2013.

My grandmother loved my bird totem drawing…so I’m giving her a print of it, and some Laura Secord lollipops since she used to work there and always had those lollipops on hand. Turns out they match! A beautiful playful pic…

The hard candy looks like the shapes in the drawing! Pop candy color art

Saturday morning at the boxing gym, September 7th, 2013.

There’s always a lot of people Saturday morning at Grants Bros boxing gym, and I caught plenty of the action. Shadowboxing, boxing on the bag, sparring, training on the pads with a coach, double-end bag…everyone is in their spot working hard. I was walking around visiting them taking pictures.

Fierce boxing on the bag

Stewart Hall, September 22nd, 2013.

Pics of beautiful sky effects.

Fils Died, September 30th 2013.

My mom took this picture with her phone…a rare thing for my mom! This was actually at her house, the night before Fils died! (In my story in the photo gallery)
Little dude didn’t look too bad, did he. I had already made all these trips to the vet with him, and at my sister’s practice.

I love you forever my Fils, my Rémy, my son, and I know we’ll always be together. The captions of the photos tell beautiful stories about Fils, as we try to cope with his loss.

The pine with a lot of sap, November 1st, 2013.

Went back to this tree, determined to complete this photo project showing a weathered pine full of sap formations.

The otters on the lake, November 4th, 2013.

I was sitting on the lake, when I spotted a creature in the water. I thought, it doesn’t seem to be a duck, it looks like an otter or beaver. I got close but then they went back in the water. I got one good shot in the distance when he came back. They’re were two, and they were playing.
