I was drawing two zebras yesterday night
Reprise: Two Zebras Canoodling

Studio Edit

I say its a “Reprise” because I painted this design in oils, twice, many years ago. Its different this time. One of the paintings had red in the background, the other a vivid blue. It was also bigger! The red one lived at my grandma’s house, in a frame, the blue one I gave to a guy friend when I was graduating highschool! (Dumb move)
Yes, I was that good of an oil painter that young. Even at 12! I started in oils at age 12, I believe. I was already so good in all the other kinds of art I had made… I showed promise even in kindergarten!
Promise of becoming a great artist.

♡♡♡♡♡♡About Figure Drawing
I have done so much of this!!!!!!
(Its just been a long time)

“Figure”
Figure study, Life drawing, also sometimes known as figure drawing or gesture drawing, is the drawing of the human form in various poses and levels of detail.
A session spans three hours, with a live model, set with furniture, drapery and/or lighting, in the center of the room, & artists with easels and large pads of working paper in a circle around.
A session begins with 1 minute poses, to 5 minute poses, to ten minutes, then a half hour study. After a short break, the artist(s) make one longer study for the remainder of the time of the session; approx. 90 minutes.
Pastels can be used, pencils, conté, willow charcoal, pen & ink, brush & ink, with various types of large sheets of paper on an easel board, such as newsprint, standard white paper, pastel paper, kraft paper, mayfair, etc.
