“Bubs, Dean of Oxford, Oxford University in England, The Dean of Deans.” With the lapel pin to prove it, along with other accolades in the photographs… January 18th 2017
Photoset: Catch the pin! Try to get the words! The details… Photographic mission! Upwards and onwards!
The previous Deans of Oxford were: Tom Selleck, from Dubai, who is also Dad to my brother in-law Arash Tahmassabipour. He said it was very nice to see the lapel pin again! Next was Mark Labbett, a fine young man, who lost the pin… but then I found it just in the nick of time… when I became the new Dean of Oxford! I have already been on important and fun Dean duties too… at Oxford; and at McGill University here in Montreal! Not to mention that Oxford has a boxing gym…. !!!!
Look… I’m sneaking with my Fine Arts treble cleft key chain! I did an advanced-level (adult) exam at the Music Conservatory here in Montreal’s Vieux-Port when I was a teenager, in Classical Piano… and I passed with flying colors! January 19th, 2017
More, believe it or not… January 19th, 2017

Around the same time I was working with the Dean of Oxford, I started talking to some relatives that I found, that I didn’t know about, about Harvard Law, and their pair of deans…
I met my great uncle, a coach in the NFL, that had been the former Dean of Harvard, which is a degree in law for them. Then I met my second cousin – his son – and another man, both also coaches in the NFL, that were holding the current title as deans of Harvard, because, at that school, they have a shared fellowship. (2)
Now at this point I am starting to think that maybe I could go to these prestigous schools, Harvard and Oxford, and start fishing around online and on their websites. I had started speaking with the Dean of Oxford, Labbett, and the doctor that examines the boxers – literally Arash’s sister, Brooke – like an academic counselor, to the point that they just instate me! They had to! Then its talking to the three Harvard men, (2 are family), and discussing that the 2 Dean rings had been lost… then I found them, and they got them back! Left at the airport security by accident, where a young stranger picked them up, and with my help, they made it back to those NFL Big Guys!
Now, with all the work I had done, and had been doing recently, in the NFL, and the new connections to my family members, Deans of Harvard, and law discussions I had, research, AND even Law work together with them… I got nominated as well. Alicia Surveyer, also now announced Dean of Harvard as of a few days ago. This is ridiculous, but its real, and goes to show you, my fans, that I am not only an artist, or a FAMOUS ARTIST: I do a lot of things in a lot of disciplines, and you can only imagine how hard I work! In life, or to make my life.
Yes, I am a registered lawyer, with the pass in French-language to work well here in Québec, and I am even an extremely accomplished lawyer, that has done work in big domains. This is another legacy in my family; such as art and engineering and ecology. So now Law. I am eloquent in my Law talk or writing – even in French – and can read and interpret complicated legal documents very well as well. In French and English. I have had to do this for when I was imprisoned, in the doctrines of medical, insurance, banking, fraud, crime, and city legislation, political, national, and also among other subjects and cross-connected subjects. Even to the point of Human Rights. Like UN stuff.
WINK WINK

The lost Harvard rings… found by me for sale on a website!
I even checked the logo style, lol, in comparison to what was on the Harvard site!

My art on RDS TV in 2012. January 22nd, 2017
RDS is Réseau-Des-Sports; basically the french version from Québec of TSN, The Sports Network, like ESPN. I watch a lot of sports TV. They have a program called “La 5 à 7″, meaning the 2-hour happy-hour time after a workday. There are 2 guys qui animent le programme, and the various commentators come on about different sports topics. It plays five days a week, and they gave an address for sending them Christmas cards, that they would put on the set, kinda stuck all over the place. I sent mine, with original art by me, and a Merry Christmas wish to les amis RDS.
Mine is the graphic pine tree, in bright marker colors, with a Christmas star, and my snowflake logo artistically stamped on it.

This is a picture of the TV, on a still of the show.

South America. January 22nd 2017
These are pictures of colorful “star” jewelry. (A necklace and earrings set.) Really they are spiders, spider jewelry, in colors, from the tropical jungle of South America. A gift from Spider… particularly, the ones that live in banana trees, called White Widows. This explains a picture I have of one with what looks like a belly-full of yellow… banana. It also explains how they get ‘imported’ here to Canada. (With the banana produce deliveries.)
OKay, so, “deadly White Widows”. “poisonous spiders”, here in Canada, huhhhh, right? No. The reason they are called that is because they defend the banana trees. They bite the large insects that would decimate the trees, and they drop like flies out of the banana tree. Therefore, we have fruit that has been protected naturally by its own ecosystem. And this protection goes to the tree itself. An infested tree trying to heal all the “wounds” on its fruit could die.
The females are white, and they are called White Widow Spiders because they drop the dead “pest” insects off the tree. The male White Widows, that exist, obviously, like every animal, are brownish-white. (Insects are still considered part of the animal realm, in science.) And even if the White Widow Spider eats some banana, it is less of a pest on the trees, technically, than these large insects that would make decimated bananas, like the worm in the apple. These spiders are really out to protect the trees!
This is how ecosystems work, to be in harmony, with the most life, or biodiversity, possible. I think, really, the reason you would see a White Widow with a belly full of banana is because they go eat the bugs they killed, or the bugs’ belly-full of banana, or even maybe some of the rotted bananas on the forest floor that naturally fell off the trees. When they come to Canada hitching a ride inadvertently in a banana crate, they have to find another way to eat and survive. And these little guys love it here in Canada, no less!
This topic in science is called ecology, and in this ‘system’ I just explained, there is parasite/host relationship, predator/predated relationship, and symbiotic relationship. (Mutual benefit for both species.) There also are many other factors in a jungle ecosystem, like, what types of birds come? and what do they do? or do they eat the bugs? What do the trees need, to grow healthy? in comparison to the other types of trees around it, that may be competing for water and sunshine? …etcetera.
Enjoy the pictures here below.

This picture has a young man and young woman. It is an artful picture from advertising. The “boy” looks like an angel-shape preen version of my friend Jimmy, from my days in Lachine. (Lachine is a borough of the city of Montreal.) The girl looks like the nice attendant who helped me print my labels properly. (There were artist decisions to be made, and sizing and things, it turned out very good.)

To help you celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017, Parks Canada is issuing a free Discovery Pass to anyone who wants one. The pass provides free access to every National Park, National Marine Conservation Area and National Historic Site across the country – that’s more than 200 places to explore! Unless you’ve got the whole year off, you’ll need to narrow this down to a manageable number.

What this is a flower jewelry set in silver tones, with beautiful color enameling and special stones. There is the necklace and the matching earrings. There is beading too, in more pretty colors. The back of the necklace, even, makes it clear…
This was sent to me from the Philippines; an Asian country, but where the tropical flowers, green treses, and ocean, are part of their serenity. I participated in the Miss Universe pageant, on the wings, that was being held there. I decided to make sure things went well, but did not enter the contest as Miss Canada. It has to be more than a bikini show – its about being a beautiful women AND about having many attributes in all the other aspects of leadership in life. It could be a woman’s beauty, education, talent, athleticism, leadership in her location & culture, kindness, and ability to be outspoken, and speak with intelligence on the fly, like a peace-maker.
My Blue Whale Canada Post Stamps. March 4th 2017
In these photos (part of my making a trail around my mom’s house of my artistic projects) there is a beautiful necklace Adrian custom-made for me, with stones he bought, and then the envelope (with writing with my sharpie) and the Blue Whale stamps inside the envelope. Adrian chose stones and colors and designs that suit me very well; I like ocean colors, blue topaz and aquamarine, jade, silver, and stones with rare cuts.
The blue whale stamps are designed to be excessively large, to host an etching-like image of a Blue Whale, the largest animal on our planet. The stamp denomination is 10$; it could be a stamp for sending parcels via Canada’s mail.
Animal the Muppet is like: “WHAT? I GOT ALL THIS?? AH?” (With a silly headshake, lol)

My candy story. March 4th-5th 2017
A boy introduced himself to a girl sitting on a park bench one day. It was near a path, with calming nature around. He had seen her sitting there one too many times! She always looked peaceful – pretty- and relaxed. It was one of her favorite spots to just sit and be peaceful outside, and take a break.
He said: “Hi. I see you sitting here a lot. Mind if I sit?” She said, “I don’t mind, my name is Ronnie.”
They chatted a bit, then Ronnie decided that she “had better be going”, and that was that.
On her way home she went to the store for a couple things, and found this pretty box of candy (in a tin like in the photo), and decided to buy it. She had money from her work, and was a disciplined person, so the “splurge” was okay.
She kept going back to her pretty relaxing place, her bench, and over the days, eventually Ronnie (boy Ronnie), would come sit. At first the conversation was slow, but he started talking to Ronnie a lot about all kinds of things. She got in the habit of popping one of her candies, from her tin, because they last long, to listen to what he had to say carefully, reminding herself to be patient, and then when her candy was done, she’d have found the right thing to say. She thought the guy was kind, but seemed to have a lot to say about his life, that she thought that maybe he didn’t really talk about to other people.
Candy-lady started realizing that Ronnie’s stories were getting sillier, and that she thinks he’s pretty nice. The talking was nice and fun. She liked that he always came to visit her in the park. “Hmmm…”
Looking out at the water with a candy in her mouth…
Finally one day after what seemed like a long time, Ronnie realized that her candy tin was empty, and she was on her last one! She decided to offer it to her friend. She said: “Look, its my last candy. I bought these the day we had first met. Do you want the last one” Ronnie took it. “now I’m going to say something to you, okay? We have been sitting here many times, and I listen to what you have to say, eating my candies. We must have spent a lot of time together, because the tin is empty now! I think a lot about what you say. It must be hard being a man. You always have to keep a strong face. I think our friendship, our amitié, has been very nice, and maybe you needed a nice friend, a girl friend, to talk to. Its been very nice and fun for me too.”
Ronnie cracked his candy. “hey, you’re not supposed to crack them!” “haha, I’m sorry.”
“Let me finish my thought-”
“No, you don’t have too. I want to spend more time with you. A lot. I care about you a lot. You are the nicest, sweetest, funniest, and prettiest, girl I know.”
“I just had to sit and talk to you, because I had seen you there! You looked very special to my heart.”
He takes her hand. It was sweet, but “scary-nervewracking”, because they never held hands before.
He said “Wait..”
He left, and came back a couple minutes after with something very special, as nice as her candy tin, but thought out, and from him.

My pictures at St-Joachim church, in the historic area of Pointe-Claire Village. March 11th 2017
There are a lot of interesting things about these photographs and the project. First, I have documented beautiful churches in my art before; in sketches, photographs, paintings, and etchings; locally, and in my travels. This is over a life-span of making art. I also purposely went to take the pictures at dusk, so that the tones of the church would be blueish in the photographs. I had a mission as well to capture certain interesting things I had noticed about the church, when I had gone to investigate the area for my project previously.
The wind was very very strong the day I took these photographs, but at least the temperature outside was still somewhat mild. I went to Stewart Hall before taking the pictures, and it was a good day to do it; I had very rarely seen the waves of the lake that high there. The water was very turbulent, which is not common for lakes. Lakes are freshwater, and they don’t have continuous waves like the ocean. Waves in lakes are more dependent on things like the current of the water, or wind or weather.
The nature surrounding the church that day was a good setting for the photo-set in other aspects as well. The waves, the lighting of the sky, and also the evening moon was shining. Perfect time of year, and of the day, to take these pictures. I joked that “a lighter woman could not have done it”, because the wind was so strong! It was practically blowing me away.
What is in these photos is: pics of the cathedral in its drama, a picture of the sidewalk in there that has interesting lines and colors (like in previous art by me as well), shots of the statue of Jesus across the street of the church, (on the water), and close-ups of stones with interesting things in the masonry. There are marked stones, others seem like it was more like sculptural things etched into them, but they all could have been eroded by the belting of the weather on the water. And the rings in the stones I believe must have been for tying horses, but high on the wall, in a system that they would be safely harnessed. The stone with the X could have been the mark for the height on both sides, and for where a ladder would have to be propped to climb and harness the horses. I don’t believe that the rings were for torches because they are angled vertically. They could have been for hanging lamps, which would again explain the X, because the spacing would pull the facade of the church into an artistic symmetry.
I also took two self-portraits in the car after I had done my photos, because I thought it would be nice to photograph myself as “the wind-blown artist” with rosy cheeks. I was proud! I think I caught an “aura” photo of myself because of this.
A photo gallery I made called “Fun Stuff”. March 11th 2017
This was an artistic project from a few years back, where I used my camera and the nice objects I owned to make a presentation of beautiful things, in beautiful photographs.

Ming Vase. March 16th 2017
Today I made art with my beautiful Ming Vase, that has gorgeous florals (floral patterning), pinks and color harmonies, and figures and calligraphy.
Ming Vase. March 19th 2017
There is another Ming Vase, similar to mine, that is at a restaurant I go to called Chez Cora, on Boulevard St-Charles. I went in to look at it because it is similar to mine in the way I described it artistically. This time I asked permission to take pictures of it. Here’s what I got.

I love the beautiful florals.
This is a special art piece, but it appeals to me in particular. Often art things in museums or books become the sweethearts of the public.
There are two “pictorial-images”: images with figures in a landscape setting, on each side of the vase… and they are both the same!

The eye drawing I posted was actually on a pack of cigarettes. Canadian duty-paid cigarettes have elaborate warning pictures on them, lol. Just the way it is. The brand design is actually only a little strip on the bottom of the pack. The 2nd eye drawing is on a pack of incense that I finished. Cardboard-o-rama!

Book by Alicia Surveyer: Origami. April 11th 2017
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. (Like paper airplanes, taken to a further creative extreme.) You can make wonderful things. One of the most famous is of a bird called a crane – yes, made by folding paper.
This book is by me, Alicia Surveyer, and I had to dig up some Japanese culture and tradition for it. Sorry to say, but this book is only available to buy- thru me, directly.
Did you know? The North Pole is also called Signal.
Happiness at Signal. April 11th 2017
This is actually an egg jar, not a cookie jar. It was a gift from a family from the islands – for my diplomacy.
The fish “tap” the North Pole (under the ice), which is actually (the point of) the axis of the earth.
April 13th, 2017: There is a trail-head to walk to the North Pole; it starts literally in the middle of a creek in Brighton. I’ve been!
Trip to the Sugar Shack. From Friday April 14th 2017
Maple syrup is part of the culture and history of Canada. But its not just sold by the bottle (or can)… You can make an activity of it by visiting a “Cabane à sucre” – a sugar shack – where they will serve you breakfast, and serve some maple sap off a stick off the snow. Normally a good time to go is in March, when its mild out, but there is still snow!
These are the pictures from my visit.

Running around; super cute; trying to find its pack
My father played with him at first, then I got a better look at the pup… I said; be careful!

Giant Clydesdale horses pulling a wagon!
They are brothers; walking in time.
This is quite literal, because they are used to being work horses, side-by-side all day!

This is a maple-sap bucket. A tap is literally stuck into the maple tree; then sap drips drop by drop into the bucket. There are several, on many of the maple trees of the property. This “liquidy” sap is used to make the maple syrup.
This particular “sugar shack” has nice wood things, as seen in the picture. The whole place is built of wood, and is pretty old, and there are several installations all around. (Buildings with different uses, benches, etc.)

My pup as I was leaving…
Who wants to leave?
I brought my camera for this activity, of that day, because I am one of the best photographers there are currently, and I decide to do the work while enjoying the day.
I didn’t really even get enough pictures! (Of all the things I wanted to)
And apparently I am some super freak because of my animal taming…
Ask my mom what she’d call this guy… lol
